Tuesday 14 Nov. [Actually November 13]

Heard no noise in the ice during the night. No cracks in sight. Unfortunately the little light N’ly breeze managed to force the fog in.

We have thus travelled in fog all day – our 20 nautical miles. It is sad to travel blind along unknown land – but there is nothing to be done about it. We hope that the fog will not last long. The doggies are still behaving in the same way – sprightly and satisfied.

Skiing and terrain the same – excellent.
